Arc stud welding is
an excellent and reliable method of single sided fastening.
Fasteners as large as 1 1/8" in diameter can be end-welded
to a weldable base material in less than one second with the use
of a solid state, transformer rectifier power source and a
lightweight, portable stud welding gun. The time of the arc and
amount of current to be discharged is measured by the controls
built into the power source.
Stud Welding Equipment
- New, state-of-the-art equipment from
the largest manufactures in their field
- Reconditioned equipment, guaranteed to
perform at an affordable price
- Production equipment for high-volume or
close-tolerance requirements
- Rental and lease equipment to meet the
occasional jobs and requirements
- Parts and accessories for all makes and
models of equipment in the industry
- Repair capabilities to keep your
equipment running and jobs on-time
Single-sided fastening means:
- There will be no air or liquid leaks
- There may be no backside marking
- Elimination of the cost of drilling and tapping holes
- Means reduced labor cost and lower in-place cost

Special CD Weld Studs
From a .060" diameter no-thread CD
stud to a 7/16" hex CD stud, special CD studs can be
manufactured to meet your precision fastening requirements. The
illustrations below indicate just a few of the possible
configurations in which CD studs can be manufactured. These
illustrations, however, do not represent any standard product
line. If you require a special configuration CD stud for your
application, please submit a sketch or drawing with dimensions
and material requirements for a quotation.
